Admission to any of the AACTD degree programs requires the following:
- Application
- A resume, curriculum vitae, or list of professional accomplishments.
- An official transcript forwarded from all institutions that document your previous academic work.
- If your first language is not English and you do not have an undergraduate degree from an institution where all courses were taught in English (one of the following is required):
- a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of at least 600 (written version) or 215 (computer version)
- an IELTS (International English Language Test) minimum overall band of 5 for undergraduate and 6.5 for graduate programs or verified earned certification in an English proficiency program.
- SAT verbal exam scores of 500 or higher.
- ACT English exam scores of 19 to 20 or higher.
- Application fee. Depending on the program, the application fee is paid at the time the application is submitted or included in the first program payment made following acceptance into the program.
In addition, the individual degree programs have the following admissions requirements:
Associate of Science Programs
- Evidence of graduation from high school or satisfactory completion of the General Education Development (GED) requirement in the form of official transcripts or GED certificate. Official transcripts of high school graduation or GED certification must be sent directly to AACTD by the granting institution(s). Students wishing to enroll in an associate’s degree program must have received a minimum GPA of 2.00 in their high school studies.
Bachelor of Science Programs
- Evidence of graduation from high school or satisfactory completion of the General Education Development (GED) requirement in the form of official transcripts or GED certificate. Official transcripts of high school graduation or GED certification must be sent directly to AACTD by the granting institution(s). Students wishing to enroll in a bachelor’s degree program must have received a minimum GPA of 2.00 in their high school studies.
Master of Science Programs
- Two references from current or past senior managers.
- A goal statement that states the academic, professional, and personal goals you would like to achieve through your studies at AACTD. The Admissions Committee evaluates goals statements as part of the application process.
- At least 5 years of progressively increasing work responsibility for the MBA program.
- Original transcripts from each post-secondary institution attended, sent directly to AACTD from the institution. Students wishing to enroll in a graduate program must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.67.
- AACTD is a GMAT-using school, but GMATs or GREs are not required for admission to AACTD.
